Xena was brought into Rescue P.A.W.S. after giving birth to 9 puppies. Previously, she had been living with a couple who took her in and did not sterilize her. When she had her puppies, they were all brought into Rescue PAWS and Xena has been here ever since. She is a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved. She loves people and would be the biggest lovebug in her own home. The moment someone comes into her kennel she’ll roll on her back for belly rubs or climb into their lap and get lots of cuddles. She craves human attention and doesn’t discriminate, she loves all people. 

Due to being in a kennel environment since February 2023, Xena is dog reactive. We thoroughly believe that this can be solved with training but while in a shelter it is difficult to address her fears.

Xena would love family who will spend time with her and give her lots of cuddles. She has a very kind temperament and would be best suited to a single pet home.
