Rescue P.A.W.S is looking for a veterinary nurse/ technician/ assistant to join our amazing team in Hua Hin. In return we offer;

This position is full time (40 hours per week), 5 days a week.
Rescue P.A.W.S. is a non- profit animal welfare organization in Khao Tao, Hua Hin. Our aim is to improve the lives of stray animal populations through vaccinations, sterilizations, education, adoption and provision of food and basic health care. Our ideal candidate would have experience working in the animal care industry, specifically in a clinical environment, a positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic. In addition basic spoken English is advantageous.
Daily duties include, but are not limited to;
Daily monitoring and care of hospitalized animals and recording all relevant information on medical charts provided.
Accurately medicating patients as directed
Providing parasite treatments as required
Performing kennel duties to a high standard, when required, and ensuring daily monitoring of animals is recorded on kennel monitoring charts.
Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is adhered to in clinic building, including outside areas.
Performing weekly health checks on all kennel dogs using a health check list provided, report results to Practice Manager.
Recovering patients from anaesthesia
Post operative care
Performing wound checks
Assist the Vet or Practice Manager in performing medical checks
Assist Vet in surgery as required
Follow instructions given by Practice Manager or Vet regarding daily running of the clinic
Help out in all aspects of Rescue P.A.W.S operations when required, including, but not limited to beach walks, feeding runs, dog training and community engagement.
