I’m a shy little girl but very sweet. I’m around 6 months old and when I first came to Rescue P.A.W.S. I was so scared. My sister Khloe and I were found in an electrical unit near a 7-Eleven. We were suffering from mange and had lost a lot of our fur. With the hot Thai sun and lack of care, we had dried skin, sores and were burnt.
When the Rescue P.A.W.S. team arrived we didn’t know them well and didn’t know what they wanted. They had to catch us because we were too scared to come near them. They knew we needed help and so they did everything that they could. When we arrived at the clinic we were given food and medicine and now our fur is growing back and we are recovering in the kennels.
After a few months we were still very shy and didn’t seem to be improving. Then, they took me to the beach for my first beach walk. It was amazing! I could run and play and do all sorts of things. They told me as long as I come back when I’m called I can run and play as much as I want.
Now that I have more freedom, I quite like people. Whenever I’m out and about I like to see what they’re up to and I don’t mind when they pet me now. The team said it’s like I’m a different dog!
I’m still learning to be with strangers and so I need a family who will understand my shyness and let me take the time I need to feel at home. Once I do, I’ll come out of my shell and show you my playful puppy side!
