I arrived at Rescue P.A.W.S in 2017 with my mum Blondie and 4 male siblings. As the smallest of the bunch, I was often bullied and pushes around by my brothers. As I got older I began to take after my mum’s timid nature and was very shy. She seemed to be scare of a lot of things and so I was scared too. I would only allow a few select people to pet me and I became withdrawn. I also had an accident where I broke my elbow. I received treatment but my elbow didn’t quite heal properly. I walk a little slower than the other dogs but I don’t let it stop me from having fun!
Lately, I have been hanging out at the Rescue P.A.W.S clinic. The people there are so nice to me and we have cuddles when they come in the morning. It’s helped me a lot with my confidence. Now I enjoy making friends with all of the new volunteers and visitors. I like to bring them gifts that I find lying around. On special occasions I will even find a toy so share with them.
I get along with cats and other dogs, however, I can be quite timid around other dogs and so I would enjoy being in a single dog home. I do love my best friend Bohdie though and I would be so pleased to have a home with him! We would both enjoy curling up at your feet of going for walks together. I’ve been waiting for a home for a long time and I think I’m ready for a new adventure. It will take me some time to adjust to your routine and my new environment but if you give me a chance I know I can make you so happy.
